To protect and preserve the animals of Indiana, and safeguard the rights of responsible animal owners and professionals through education and sound legislative actions.
Indiana Council for Animal Welfare (ICAW) was established during the 2009 Indiana legislative session; by a group of dedicated citizens who love their animals and felt strongly that their right to own, and control them were dangerously being threatened.
The ICAW represents a wide range of individuals who are passionate about their animals and believe strongly in protecting their rights concerning them. Here are some of our friends.
Animal Rights organizations are increasingly impacting the animal world. They are threatening the right to own our beloved pets as well as the whole agriculture industry. The Animal Rights activists feel we (the American public) are not good enough to own or use animals. These groups work around the clock to eliminate:
- Animal Farming
- Eating meat
- The use of animals in research
- and even owning any animal as a family pet!
ICAW has been established to protect the rights of animal owners in Indiana and ensure the welfare of all animals. This is a huge undertaking and it comes at a price. The day's of sitting back and letting the world go by while we do our thing has come to an end. Animal rights activists are working to take away your rights.
