Membership
Join the Indiana Council for Animal Welfare exists to preserve your right to own and control your animals. Membership to the ICAW is open to individuals, businesses and animal clubs, associations and leagues. In order to join the ICAW you must apply for membership through our formal application process.
You can apply for membership in three ways.

Membership Dues
Dues can be paid via check, or online via PayPal or Credit Card.
Ninety-three percent (93%) of your membership investment is deductible as a business expense. The Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1993 disallows as a business expense that portion of your dues, which are allocable to lobbying at the state or federal level. Dues, contributions, or gifts to the Indiana Council on Animal Welfare are not deductible as charitable contributions for income tax purposes. The Indiana Council on Animal Welfare is a tax exempt entity, but it is classified as a 501(c)6 organization by the IRS. The IRS has ruled that contributions made to 501(c)6 organizations, such as the council, are not eligible as charitable deductions. Further information on this law should be obtained from your tax advisor.
